I have 2 comps at home running on a network, my client is Windows2000 and the Server is Windows98 (always on the net). I shared on folder on my client, but when I try to access it from the server it asks for a password. When I was sharing the folder, a enabled all privilages and don't why I keep getting that stupid dialog box. Any help?

Depends on how you're trying to access it. Try creating a shortcut to it, on the win98 machine, using network addressing.

do u log into Win98 box using user/pw that are existed in win2k box ? ... you need to create a new user/pass in ur win2k box and log in with it into ur win98 box.

On the Win2k machine you have to create a user called "default" and then go to each share and make sure that the user "default" can access them.
