Hi there..
i've been looking for a software where i can burn any data/multimedia with password protection option!

meaning i want to create a video DVD "bunch of Divx not actual video DVD" so when i try to play on an external DVD/DIVx player, it will prompt for a password. The idea is that i want to make it protected from others to view.

thanks.

Hide your pr0n dvd's better?

Seriously I don't know that it could be done because the target player would have to have a mechanism in it's software (firmware / os) to accommodate such a thing.

So my short answer is, it can't be done.....maybe we'll both learn something though......

The only thing I can think of is using Divx's DRM solutions. There's no consumer solution though. You could check to see if the dvd/divx player offers a parental lockout (or similar setup) for divx files.

Just hide your pr0n better.

You could create a True Crypt file container, put the contents you want to store in the volume, and then store the volume on DVD. If you want access to the DVD's contents, just mount the volume on the DVD.
