I am having trouble sharing my drive with another computer. It must not work the same as it does in win98. I am using win2k pro and i right click on the folder i want to share and share it as full access without any permision setup no password requierd. Now when I go to the other computer and try to access the drive or folder I get a message asking for a password. I have know idea what that password would be since I never anyware setup a password. the only password is on my router. p.s. the other computer is win98 my daughters, we are sharing a cable modem
 
On windows 2000. When you goto the users area. Make sure that the user and password of the windows 98 machine is in that list. Add a user with same name and pass as win98. Then there shouldn't be a problem
