PASSWORD PROBLEM :(

I HAVE LOCKED MY LAPTOP USING A PASSWORD DONT KNOW HOW I DID IT.....I BOUGHT THE LAPTOP A FEW DAYS AGO FROM A FRIEND AND ITS MY FIRST EVER LAPTOP THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A GOOD CHANGE FROM MY PC..ANYWAY AS I MESSED AROUND WITH IT ACCIDENTALLY CREATED A PASSWORD THAT I CANT REMEMBER (I KNOW HOW STUPID OF ME) AND NOW WHEN I RESTART MY LAPTOP IT ASKS FOR A PASSWORD DURING BIOS MODE...WONT EVEN LOAD WINDOWS UNTILL THE PASSWORD IS ENTERD CAN ANYONE HELP?

I actually put a password on my BIOS for my laptop that got stolen years ago.. hopefully whoever ended up with it got stumped too.

WTF? You posted the SAME thing in a different forum. Turn your damn caps off! And how about you call the manufacturer for help.

I'm definitely getting the feeling that this is a stolen laptop.

I'm sorry but i don't believe someone actually just goes into the bios and creates a password, then forgets it 2 seconds later......i have to concur with the rest in saying it sounds stolen.
