Password on CS server

Hello!

How do I do to set a password when running a dedicated server. I use a shortcut to the "HLDS.exe" to start the server, and I tried to add the line "+password <thepassword>" to the targetfield, but it seems to be wrong. So, can anyone please tell me where I can make that setting, because I don't want to start the game everytime, I just want a simple shortcut.

i know that you can go into the game to make a dedicated server by going to create-games, check dedicated server, and then set a password.

I don't know about the short-cut way though... 😀
