password character

so i just installed firefox 3 and noticed they have adopted the dot as the password character, which i dont really like. i know this is a minor thing but is there a way to change the password character maybe even to something unique (not just *) in firefox?

Not sure if it's available to be changed, but you can try digging around about:config

Just type that into your address bar and look through the list.

i actually tried looking up pass and char in about:config but none of the items were what i'm looking for
