Password Authentication Gateways

need a system that will promt all users on the wifi network to endter a username/password when they open a browser and will remember that the node is logged in for the rest of the day (3am dump?)

found a bunch of interesting stuff so far, but I was wondering what the House reccomends.... 🙂

We're looking at Nomadix for our library customers when they bring in laptops and want to connect to our wireless network, but not sure if it will do everything you'd want.

nocatauth is super. it works on any unix-like OS and is extremely mature. oh, and it's f r e e.

We just installed Trapeze network at my work but it is probably overkill for what you need.

Former system was running a RADIUS + mysql system. Looked at NoCatAuth but we ended up with a $$$ solution instead.
