Hi
I just tried running Passmark performance test suite on my system, and when I try to run 3D graphics test suite I get the following message:
"Invalid video mode.
The resolution and color depth you have selected do not appear to be valid for hardware acceleration. Please ensure that correct monitor drivers are installed. Also ensure that the most recent video drivers for your graphics adapter are properly installed."
I have not yet bought a monitor for my system, and have connected it to an old Dell monitor (Dell E551a) that I had lying around. Have not installed the drivers for that particular monitor.
Installed the ATI Radeon drivers that came with my X800GTO card. It identifies my monitor correctly as Dell E551a.
Do I have to get the driver for this particular monitor? Unfortunately Dell website has the driver for Windows ME only for this particular monitor. How can I work around this problem.
Thanks in advance.
Mahesh.
