OK, so fiancee and I live in a quasi-gated community. That is - the gate is open from 7am-7pm it comes down at 7pm and you need a card to get in.
So you have your share of folks who do things like tailgate in, there is a known gate code (a variant of 911) that I've heard people shout to each other to gain entry. Its annoying for guests, but you know what I like it. It generally keeps out folk who are up to no good, there haven't been random break-ins here, and my stuff is still in my car.
So we come back from dinner on the night of the 29th driving my fiancee's car, and there is a line up at the guest side. We whip out the card open the gate on the resident side - and promptly a massive SUV pulls behind and we know they are going to tailgate.
So she stops cold. Usually the gate comes down and said tailgater is screwed. Now granted if it were earlier they could just come inside. So why should I care right? Well - this time the SUV managed to keep the gate up. So we had ourselves a mexican standoff. Meanwhile some douchebag was taking forever at the guest gate. I hop out and confront the tailgater. She was a person who did not belong there. "I'm picking somebody up, why you gotta be a asshole?" - to which I said "Because I don't know you and there is a perfectly reasonable way for you to gain access which does not involve you tailgating me."
Within 5 minutes the person at the guest gate gave up and left and everyone lined up had gained entry. Now the tailgater backed up went to the guest box all in a huff and we went on our way.
Nobody else with a keycard had come up by now, so my actions were reasonable and I wasn't preventing anyone else from gaining entry that deserved to do so.
We had groceries so we were backed in and had gotten them all inside and my fiancee was inside by the time what transpired next went down. Our door is also round back a large multifamily dwelling.
Now normally I wouldn't have thought anything about this, but I noticed making my last trip inside with the last of the groceries that said tailgater made a point to circle the complex's multiple sub-parking lots upon gaining entry. Thinking this suspicious - bobdole369 watched from the shadows. Now my fiancee and I drive similar vehicles. Different color and year, but they are the same shape. We both have various stickers, being from white trash heritage and punkrock sensibility.
The tailgater paused for about 30 seconds behind bobdole369's vehicle and moved on. I followed the tailgater on foot. The tailgater arrived in front of what must have been the original destination. I maintained a vigilant watch, remember that the tailgater said she was "there to pick someone up". Well I watched as someone entered the SUV. All the windows were open and the individuals inside conversed rather loudly - I heard quite clearly the individuals speak of "powder", "8-ball", and saying "that's one fifty". Within a minute the individual went back inside.
Now I don't know who was selling what to whom but its obvious (to me, I might be wrong, and I'm no police officer) that I witnessed a drug deal. Granted it could be all made up and its hearsay. But I'm a little weirded out for this was on my wiper this AM.
PICS:
The really funny bit:
On the reverse - while the tailgater made an effort to hide where the letter came from, they failed to notice the ZIP+4 code, which narrows it down to a few houses on a street.

It's 33068-3913 Thats within about 3 miles of where I live, and is known to be an area where you might get drugs if one was so inclined; AKA a "bad part of town".
Of course it could have been just picked up off the ground, but I bet they live on that street.
cliffs:
1. No pics of fiancee - fuck you.
2. bobdole369 keeping out drug dealers, that came in anyways.
3. passive-aggressive note left for bobdole369.
4. No profit.
Let the flood of "cool story bro" commence.
