So we replaced our 37inch bedroom TV with a 42inch 3D TV. Was skeptical of 3D ... until I tuned to ESPN3D channel on Comcast. College Football in 3D!! ... you will never go back to watching it in 2D. Its a passive set with polarized glasses. Stunning quality !

Last night I stayed up late watching a rerun of a recent Boxing event in 3D. And I never watched boxing much before that. Comcast OnDemand has quite a few 3D shows for free ... and a ton of them in the Premium sections (Starz and HBO).

Which TV did you get? I haven't seen any with passive glasses. I'm curious how the eyestrain compares to the shutter glasses.

Eyestrain is nill. I tested Active and got instant headache from the flicker.

No flicker either. Same cheap glasses as those RealD theaters.
