Passing by name?

Can someone explain to me the meaning of the ? parameter passing by name?? Does this is similar to ?passing by value??

need more info, what command are you trying to do, what parameter are you trying to pass it, where do you see "parameter passing by name" ?

Agreed, more information would be helpfull. But this might be what your refering to.
