I am still working on my CCENT! What test prep material did you use?
Not sure if you were talking to me? I took a Global Knowledge CCNA v2 bootcamp (work paid for it) and also used the Todd Lammle Sybex book for the exam.
Is Global Knowledge a good program in general for boot camp? I may take a GK boot camp for MCSA in February.
Please, god; please don't boot camp ENT...I'd read the ICND and INTRO books then do ALL the labs and take the test. That's really all you need to do. I think Cisco made a poor choice in creating the ENT slot. I can see CCNA's getting rejected because they don't have an ENT also by some non-technical hiring managers.
The latest books my father is reading and has found quite a few big mistakes + the separate tests they give don't follow the books properly (each test is supposed to cover each book, but both have over lap).
CCNP and greater can benefit from a classroom (not a bootcamp)...if you can find one quite a few Cisco partners offer free class nights for CCNA...some even provide the books.
I signed up for one that was 6 weeks, 4 hours one day each week. Mostly you read a chapter or two and then the classroom was a quick overview then just Q&A with senior engineers. It was great to really get a wrap on some of the stuff that's just poorly explained. Plus you learn what's really important and what's just textbook.
Nice thing with PC's becoming more powerful is simulators are as well.
