Passed 1st year Computer Science @ KCL. I'm pleased. Will get the actual break down in 2 or 3 weeks time. But the main thing is I passed this year so thats cool.

Some of my friends have to repeat a few exams and some failed 🙁.

So when do you guys find out your results?

Uhm, I was done first week of May. Unfortunately, I'm taking summer school but it's my last semester of college. Yay.

Are exams harder in the UK Koing, or are you just a slacker? 🙂
 
my break was 2 months ago also but i took a summer accounting class( dunno why since im a CS major) easy A tho

I finished about 2 months ago after my last exams also but only the results are put up today.

Well depending on what University you go to the exams are harder or easier. Or they do less technical parts in the Computer Science course. Some guys get multiple choice exams and I don't. I don't get any coursework marks that factor in to my end result of the first year. My coursework you have to pass to be able to *take the exam*. Some other guys get the coursework mark to add in to the exam mark.

I'm no slacker. I work hard and did all the coursework and revised well. One really hard exam that was Computer Systems II that everyone thought was hard. The lecturer wasn't that good either. Don't know about that the result of the modules or any of my modules but I passed so thats good.

I had a pretty good feeling I'd pass the year. I did the work and studied hard. But its *great* to finally know you passed. No retakes of exams or repeat of the year.

Are you from the USA? Well, your job will be on the Asian continent. I hope you plan on moving there or finding a different line of work.

I'm not from the USA. I'm from Cambodia but have been living in England since I was 3.
