Anyone see that Passat commercial with the guy who gets a call from himself in the future..and he says "Don't take the job with the building next to the Passat" or something.

And so...what's the point of it? What's it have to do with Passats?

don't think about it.

vw has wasted another 30 seconds of your life.

i switch channels when that comes on. most vw commercials just suck.
 
I've found VW to have some pretty good commercials actually..like the one where the guy licks the door handle, or jumps in front of the shopping cart to save his car. Both were simple and straight forward.
 
i don't really like the new VW commercials (guy licking handle, shopping cart, guy calling himself)

i did think the best one was the guy who races to the church to stop the wedding. no sound effects except that song, i love listening to that song in my car now. (J Ralph - One Million Miles Away)

Yeah, that commercial is awesome. I think the dude thats in it is from the Stargate movie? Love the song too.

I liked the shopping cart one and the one where the guy drags his wife out to the driveway to show her how he can raise and lower the windows by turning the key in the lock. 🙂

There was one a couple of years ago that was funny too. You see this guy sitting in his parked car gesturing and moving his mouth, but no sound. Cut to a shot from the rear as the brake lights go on. Then this other guy comes over, opens the door to get in and music blasts out of the car. It was an ad for their 8 speaker stereo system in the Jetta I believe.
