Pascal FastSync - Displayport only, or can I use it with DVI?

Does anyone know if there are connector restrictions for Fast Sync to work?

This fast vsync stuff is driver forced old skool triple buffering. It doesn't need a special screen/connector.

From what I remember of the description it was supposed to more than triple buffering? Anyways, I just read that it doesn't work with multi monitor so I won't get to use it anyway.. so much for that improvement.
