are they the same?

i was playing on partypoker.net
i try to install the program again after i unistalled it by mistake.
i was not able to download it again

then i found partypoker.com
and they have free games identical to partypoker.net
but they also have real money games.

The difference is that in order to advertise on Travel Channel and other US channels, they have to adhere to the standards set by Ashcroft. He forced the travel channel to pull all offshore gambling sites and delayed WPT tourney at aruba b/c Ultimate Bet sponsored it and plastered their logo all over the show.

So to get around it, they setup partypoker.net which only allows play money hoping people would stumble onto partypoker.com.

If I were designing PartyPoker's sister software (partypoker.net), I can easily make it so you cannot re-download the software if you already had it before. This forces you to think that maybe you went to the wrong site and maybe try PartyPoker.com. At least now they'll have a chance at making real money instead of just providing free software.
