How many of you guys get back from a party, and actually look forward to ATOT? I know I do, especially when I strike out with the ladies. It makes me feel good to be myself here on good old anandtech forums.

Edit: I usually don't strike out with the ladies, it's just that I don't try because sometimes I'm just uncomfortable with the environment (i.e. wiggers, rap music, etc).
 
I don't look forward to it per se, but after the gf has gone to bed i usually hop on the net, regardless of whether we did it...

I hate how wiggers are so serious about everything. It's like everyone is their "bro" and we all need to "respect" one another. No joking and being laid back is aloud. Also, no smiling either...that's just plain wierd.

Im surprised nobodys mentioned it...... but you say it feels good to be yourself here. why aren't you being yourself at the parties? maybe you wouldn't stike out....
 
i wouldn't say I look forward to it. in fact if i'm out partying the only thing i'm looking forward to at the end of the night is sleeping.

When I get back I am usually tired and I bruth my teeth and go to sleep. I wasn't on AT yesterday as I was busy and out. I am on now because I am at my 2nd job 😛

I just don't fit in usually.

Me - Pants up around waist. Them - Pants down around lower-butt and upper thigh.

Me - American Eagle clothing. Them - god only knows, but it's 10x sizes too big.

Me - Guitar player, and heavy listener of classical music. Them - rap rap rap rap rap.

Some girl comes up to me, kisses her fingers, and then gives me the peace symbol, followed by an upward nod accompanied by squinted eyes. What does that mean? I just smiled and kinda put my hand up and waved.
