A political career like Senator McCain's, and he'll forever be best known as the man who unleashed Sarah Palin onto the world. It's a shame really. But I'm not sure I'll ever be able to forgive him for it. He may never forgive himself. What kind of bizarro world do we live in where someone like John McCain needs Sarah Palin to shore up support?

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/03/26/palin-mccain-rally-in-ari_n_515026.html

At the rally on Friday, Palin proclaimed that the Republican Party isn't the party of no -- "we're the party of hell no!"

She derided "this BS coming from the lame-stream media" about "us common-sense conservatives kinda inciting violence," but added, "We know violence isn't the answer. When we take up our arms, we're talking about our vote."

The Tea Party movement, Palin declared, is "a beautiful grassroots movement that is putting government back on the side of the people. ... Everybody here today supporting John McCain, we're all part of that tea party movement."

McCain is fighting for his political life. Fending off a primary challenge from the right, the four-term Arizona senator is facing the toughest re-election campaign of his Senate career.

Former congressman and conservative talk-radio host JD Hayworth says McCain is too moderate for Arizona Republicans. He points to McCain's reputation for working with Democrats on key issues such as reducing greenhouse gas emissions and restricting campaign donations.

Palin will help McCain tout his conservative credentials again at a rally in the Phoenix suburb of Mesa on Saturday.

As part of the corporate sellout wing of the GOP, McCain ought to be proud of Palin being part of his legacy. Palin is a useful tool for the corporate lobbyists because she helps to delegitimatize the libertarian wing of the party - which could become a legitimate force if it managed to coalesce around a truly intelligent leader. The fat cat lobbyists who own the RNC couldn't stand for that.

McCain isn't going to win the primary. Bet on it. And it's not because of Palin, it's because he isn't conservative enough.

Palin is great because you guys go nuts whenever she speaks :D
The only one going nuts when she speaks are her supporters. The rest of us sane people are scratching our heads wondering what they see in Palin.

Who is more conservative then McCain? I wonder if bush was considered conservative?

Oh well...

I hope they get the ticket --- it will be enjoyable laughing and watching them lose again.

It's not something to spend two many brain cells on anyway. We're talking here about a bunch of total loons.

Landover Baptist Church is a parody. Makes sense that the forums would read like the onion.

Ouch. McCain is going to get tanked by his own former running mate.

She's worse than Biden for credibility.

Speak of which, how the hell did Biden get on the ticket? I never did get that. Did he slip a briefcase with somewhere near a trillion dollars under the table? Do they make tables that tall?

How about Palin? Did she donate a new state to America?
