Parts for a '91 Suzuki GSXR 750

Does anyone know of any websites where you can find OEM parts for a '91 GSXR 750? I've been looking for nearly an hour and can't find any good sites... I'm mainly looking for suspension parts and headers.

Thx in advance'n'stuffz

thx for the second link, and ebay won't do. The second link doesn't have anything but harley and metric bnike stuff :/

I would suggest visiting GSXR sites and trying to find used parts/guys parting out their bikes. It's gonna be pretty tough to track down OEM stuff for a 13 year old bike - and even if you could order it from the factory, it'd be beyond expensive and defintely not worth it. Aftermarket headers and pipes would be lighter and would look better, not to mention give you a performance boost once the carbs are rejetted.

Suspension is something that would work from a used/parted out bike provided that the forks are straight, seals aren't leaking, etc - you might want to do some research as you may be able to put newer year forks/shocks on your bike without any modification and for a decent price would get better components.

I have a Penske shock and RaceTech front internals on my TL and love it - good luck with your search!

try your local cycle salvage yard.

Voltage regulator went toast on my R1, got a new/used one for $10 from the junkyard. 😀

try ronayers.com or the for sale section of gixxer.com. There are plenty of parts for your slug 😱 Thanks Quix 🙂

Haha, makin' fun of my bike? 😛 I'm getting rid of it, I didn't want to buy a hayabusa as a first bike...Then again, if I ride on anything faster I'm going to abuse the power and probably kill myself. So I doubt I'll be buying another bike.

Although, my next project will definetally include the 49cc pocket bikes 🙂 2.4hp! w00t! I was thinking about using a chainsaw motor or something on it, but I'm not sure that would work for bike usage :/

The things do look cool, there is one that looks like a mini busa for $450 at autozone, but others that look equally as good for $380 at another nearby store. Both use the same engine, though the busa look-alike weighs more and is bigger.

My motorcycle club just did a group buy on those little 49cc mini bikes, and the problem with them is that sooo many people are importing them, that it's hard to tell which ones are garbage and which are worth two beans. They seemed to have good luck with the ones they bought, and as long as you locktite EVERY bolt on that little two banger, it won't be a problem.

www.redlinesuperbike.com <--check the messageboard if you want to read up on the pocketbikes.

That was a great purchase you made on the gix, and if you ever get a more modern-day sportsbike, you'll be amazed at how heavy and slow your first gixxer really was. Feel free to PM me if you need any help.
