Well I installed Windows 7 and then Ubuntu on my new system.
I did not like the way the partitions were set up and changed them in Windows.
I left the primary boot and system partitions alone.
Well now the system will not boot up.
And it won't read from the CD.
Neither Ubuntu or Window install CD will read.
It always heads for the hard disk, starts up and halts with a GRUB 17 error.
Any way to reset the hard disk with a bootable CD?
I'm going to keep trying...wish there was a reset button on the hard drive, heh.
Thanks in advance.
