So this morning, I decided to give partition magic a try, and I guess I may have gotten in over my head. Everything went fine with the partitioning, and I was copying files over this evening when the power went out. I am now locked out of my hard drive. Windows starts to boot up then gives me a blue screen and quickly automatically restarts. I run partition magic from resuce discs and I get a bunch of error messages. Particularly noteworthy are "Error 1516 Partition improperly dismounted" (link) and "Error 1513 Bad attribute position in file record."(link) .
I don't know what to do. Tech Supports solution is to run chkdsk, but I can't do this since I'm locked out of windows. When I boot from a floppy, it doesn't even recognize the c: drive. ... any suggestions??
Thanks
