Ok I've been running a dual boot, with win98 as my primary OS and win2000 as my secondary on a logical partition. Well i'm sick of 98 it's done a hardcore crash, i can't even surf the internet on it all of a sudden because IE screwed on me. So i'm heading to make win2000 my primary OS and I want it to be a primary partition now instead of a logical partition. Is there anyway to do this using partition magic? I saw it and tried it but then it said it would restart in dos and I would finish there and I didn't want to do it just in case I would screw something.
I also want to format and reinstall 98. The only reason I want 98 still is to play games and stuff.
I got my main C drive into two partitions. 40 gigs to 98SE, and 5 gigs to win2000. Basically what I want to do is pull a switcheroonie and give 40 to win2000 and 5 to 98.
I also have a D drive (60 gigs) i'm using to backup all my drivers and mp3s and stuff.
Any comments or anything that might help?
