Partition problem!!!!!

hello, I have a second drive, that has two partitions on it, one for extra space, and one for all my music, however when I open partition magic, I seem to have an extended primary portion, which is quite large, 160 gigs, and than I have my two partitions OVER the extended portions, my two partitions are both logical, how do I access and format this extended portion? am I going to delete my other partitions, in which case I'd loose all my music ?
 
ext = log1 + log2 + log3 + logn....
note the size of the ext partition equals the sum of the logical ones.
perform the operations you need on the logical partitions.

if done via PartitionMagic, you shouldnt lose any data, but it's
better to back up your tunes before you run PM....just in case.
