Partition Magic Demo sucks...

WTF? It's a DEMO man. What, you want to use it and then not pay for it after you got what you needed from the program? You want PM to resize your partition and apply the changes? Pay for it.

why put out a product, as a demo, if it wont even work once? i dont get it. at least tempt me with it working once...

because people like you will only use it once and not buy it.

Screwed, your not worth my time. I just wanted to see how the product worked and if it did, then i would contribute to it. Thanks for the flame.

How about this. I've used it and it works. If you buy it, it WILL resize your partition. Now that you know it works, are you going to buy it? No. Because you want to do it for free.

I do contribute to alot of software companies. Every linux distro i have, i have bought. That is how i contribute. I dont have a free version of xp, i own it. I dont have free games on my pc, i own mine. Thanks for your input guys, as usual, its worthless.

"Demo" is short for "Demonstartion"... Which is what you're seeing Partition Magic do!
Shell out the $30. I think it's well worth it for what it does.

Try This, it's FREE

Hmmm, I'll quote you on that the next time you create a thread in AT's forums.

If a product, doesnt give you the opportunity to at least use it (not even to its fullest extent) 1 time, then its not worth the bandwidth to download it. Some people are still on dial up, and it will take a while to download a program like that. Therefore, i am saying that a DEMO is garbage. Not the full product. The full product may be worth it. However, if i dont get to try it at least once... then its not worth me buying it. At least microsoft gives you the opportunity to try their product for 30 days. So does Norton etc.

Burton, i in no way meant to offend you, however, you think i want to just use the software and bolt. Its not like that at all. Like i said, i buy my software. You can ask the people i have known for a long time in this forum about my ethics. Im not some fly by night person looking for a free ride.

A demo version is a demonstration version. It showed you what it can do. You were able to setup everything as you wanted. You know full well and good what the program will do now that you've run the demo. Thus, it has served it's purpose.

If it actually did it, everyone would just download it and use the demo version any time they needed the program.

Tbirdkid, do you think if the demo had a button to apply changes that it would NOT resize the partition?

The program WORKS, it will do what you want it to when you buy it. You do not need to have it done once to know that the program works. The demo is a demonstration, you used it, you saw that you could resize a partition, now if you really want it to do it you buy it.
