Partition Magic 8.0 - Can't merge with 180 megs of the drive

I'm not sure what the beginning part of the drive contains - but I can't seem to merge my D: with it. I didn't have the problem before. When I did try to merge it - I lost 30 gigs worth of data.

When I reinstalled windows, that partition was labled "OS/2 BOOT MAN".

Any ideas?

can you 'UNHIDE" the partition from PM8 and try again?

I unhid the partition as you mentioned and it worked. I'm going to use the drive for backups and media. What should the cluster size be? Should I leave it to 4k or change it to 16k
