i am trying to create a 1.5 gb linux partition and a 500 mb linux swap partition from my 10 gb ntfs partition. i am making the linux and swap partitions on the logical drive. when i try to make the changes, partition manager loads up on the restart, and it says it finishes the things very quickly. it then restarts and says that the partition changes are complete. When the computer loads, the ntfs partition is the same size it always has been, and when i load partition magic, it just shows the 10 gb ntfs partition. Why is this happening? How can I fix it? I am running Windows XP.
