Partition is called "Macintosh HD", but when I select boot device, its... -nevermind!

So I installed 10.6 this morning on my MBP (I installed from a thumb drive).

I booted up, holding down option, and chose to boot from the thumb drive. I then went into disk utility, and erased my main partition. The new one I created (just like the one before) is called Macintosh HD.

Installation finished, and I booted into 10.6 with no problems. When I go to disk utility, it shows my partition name as Macintosh HD.

For some reason, though, if I reboot and hold down option on boot (to select a disk), my only partition is labeled as "Windows". What gives?? How can I change this?? I don't mind reinstalling again.

Edit: I was using a thumbdrive intended for a hackintosh. Using the retail disc worked. Derrrrr 🙂

Odd, I just noticed that when I go to "Startup Disk", it ONLY shows Network Startup - it doesn't show any real disks.
