partition in XP

Hello......

I just installed windows XP on my Gateway 6400. Right now the OS is running fine everything is up and running good. But im having one problem. The gateway system came with a 9gig HD so at installation i made 2 partition one 4 gig and the other partition gets the rest of the space.
After i finished installing XP only the C: drive shows (first partition 4gig) i dont see the other partition at all. How am i able to see the other partition?

btw on installation only the the first partition C: where XP was installed was formatted to NTFS.
i didnt see or was i asked to format the other partition (maybe i missed it =] )

any help would be great!!

Thank you
Laura

i dont know about XP because im still using win2k but if its like win2k there should be DISK MANAGEMENT under ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS in the CONTROL PANEL. in win2k you would be able to see the unformatted space and format it there.
