Partition editing in Vista.

I didn't know this was available in Windows Vista, Under disk management it will allow you to shrink and expand partitions, even when you are running on the partition ( Boot Drive ) you are shrinking or expanding...

Has anyone else tried this yet or am I just behind the power curve? I experimented with it by deleting a logical drive and the extended partition then expanding the C partition to take the remaining empty space, rebooted for kicks. Then I shrunk the C partition and recreated a data partition. Fast and worked like a champ.

I haven't tried it yet, but I did find it while playing with Vista. I saw that it would create and re-size, but I didn't know if I could delete a partion.

Were you able to use this featute to delete the partition?

I tried it in VMWare and it worked fine too, but I'd still be leery about using it on filesystems with real data on them. But it's nice that MS is finally catching up to the other OSes out there, now they just need a decent LVM implementation and partition editor in their installer.
