Purchased a program at Staples tonite called "Partition Commander, Ver 9" by V-COM. Has anyone heard or have experience with this product or company. Haven't opened it yet, so I still can take it back.

I am trying to recover two partitions on my HD that Partition Magic V8 corupted. Boot partition still working.

AFAIK it doesn't do partition repair / recovery, it just does the same kind of resizing, setting active, etc. that PM and Acronis PE do.

I did just use their System Commander to set up a laptop for multiple boot partitions, worked fine. So if the box says it can do recovery then they're probably not lying.
