Partial String Search in Quick Search?

For instance, if you search "searc" you get 0 results. Would you guys consider implementing partial string searches? Or even using "searc*"?
 
Bah. That would mean that searching was suddenly USEFUL around these parts, which, as you know is blasphemy.

Then the mods wouldn't get to lock all those wonderful reposts. And yelling "use the search" would actually mean something

I agree. And in the quick search, there should be a checkbox saying "Search within contents of message".
