Partial shipping confirmation from newegg

Yesterday I ordered 7 items from NewEgg. Today I get the standard shipping email with tracking numbers.

Tracking #1: 1 item
Tracking #2: 2 items

I got on to NewEgg's live chat service and told the rep what was going on. She said everything was fine and gave me a third tracking number. This third tracking number does not work on UPS's site, while the other two do.

I asked the rep if she could tell me the items that were in the third package and all she gave me were some gibberish numbers and said she couldn't help me any more than that. I asked if she could resend the shipping email so that it contains all three tracking numbers and all of my parts and she said she cannot.

I just want assurance that my order is going through properly and I don't think I've gotten it. This doesn't seem like reasonable service to me.


Cliffs:
- Ordered 7 items from Newegg
- Get shipping confirmation, but only 3 items listed
- Customer service not very helpful

Have you logged onto their site and looked at your order? You should be able to access all the tracking numbers from there. Also, UPS tracking numbers may take a little time to update in the UPS system.

Yeah. My account on Newegg's site says shipped, but no tracking numbers are listed at all. It seems as if something isn't working right.

As soon as one box is ready to go the order is marked at shipped even if the other warehouses haven't even begun to pull your items off the shelves. Just be patient.

Wow calm down rambo. Give it a day or two and then start probing. Tracking numbers usually don't work for several hours or even a day.

They are shipping from another location. It's okay. Happens all the time with me. Newegg will not screw you on purpose and if they do make a mistake the least they will do is make it right, usually they go above and beyond. Go take a valume.

newegg will send you an email each time a package is shipped out. if you dont get it in the X-days you paid for, then start sniffing around. knowing package A is in some warehouse somewhere won't get it to you any faster.

Ah, I've had several packages sent from multiple locations before. They've always sent out the email for all of them at once.
