Read on The Register that Parthus Technologies was contracted for the DSP work on the Nvidia's nForce MCP.
From the MCP, all the rumors say that ex-Aureal guys made the audio portion of the MCP; and here at Anandtech or Tom's (I forget where I read it) the Nvidia people declined to say who got the contract for the integrated ethernet portion of their MCP.
What if it was Parthus? What if Parthus gets a piece of the pie of every Xbox and nForce? The Register article also states that it's market share grew 264.5% last year (of course..going from selling 1 chip to 3 chips is also 200% gain
)
I was pretty intrigued since I never heard of this company before.
