I can start working tomorrow getting paid $8/hr + $100/month

it's just a part time job that I applied to, for this summer

I'm leaving in one month so I don't want to take it and leave in a month

I'm thinking of calling him and letting him know I changed my mind.. any ideas on what you would do/say?

since its a part time job. Just tell your boss that you are leaving in a month. You can still work. I see no problems there.

You should've told your boss you were leaving in a month when you first applied.

Do you need the income? I would base your decision off the answer to that question.

yeah i'm only working for like 6 and a half weeks, just let them know up front...if there's a problem then you can get out of it, but if it's no problem then it's all good

Tell him you are leaving in a month. If he says no can do, then you don't get the job like you're thinking now. If he says no problem...PROFIT!

gotta bend the rules a little bit to survive in this world, even though it may be unethical

yep.... it's only going to be a problem if you avoided telling them to increase your chances of getting the position.

EDIT: saw post above. well, then the decision is entirely yours. if you seriously think that you'll lose the spot if you tell them, and you can deal with the discomfort of giving them 2-hours notice right before you leave, then go for it.
