I find the steppings to be annoying in that they use letters and names. I just can't remember the steppings what names they are as well.
Seriously couldn't AMD just use a simply letter at the end of the PR number like 2800A and 2800B, it sure would save some time.
Example:
2800A = Clawhammer, CO, 1.5v, 70°
2800B = Newcastle, CG, 1.5v, 70°
2800C = Clawhammer, CG, 1.5v, 70°
etc.
