why are some people allowed to make parody threads and other people who make threads that aren't parody threads, but somehow the mod thinks its a parody thread, aren't allowed?


nvm, they finally locked the other threads.
 
I think that some parody threads made here are difficult to identify by a mod, so they hardly ever be noticed.
 
it sure... but I think the MODs rely on members to inform them of what is happening since they cannot be every where all the time.

Great for those who slip under the radar. Sucks for those who don't or get reported.

You're right, though. People get all "that's been posted for 30 minutes now and the mods haven't done anything about it!" Or "there was a thread about that a couple of weeks ago that didn't get locked, so why can't I post it?"

If you see something that is just wrong, tell them! They'll either do something or they won't. Don't expect them to magically know that it exists. As entertaining as it might be to imagine them hooked up to some giant machine that provides a taserlike shock to get their attention every time an inappropriate post is made, it just doesn't happen (unless they're even kinkier than they've let on.) 🙂

Elites MAY have more insight into the forums SHOULD work based on there value to the community. That is a reason that they ahve been awarded the Elite label vs Lifer/NBeffer

One does not need a moderator to tell them what to do, to see a good example of an elite and follow it.
