I know spamming and making several stupid posts is frowned on, but is there an actual rule against making a parody?




Person A makes a thread about X


Person B makes another thread parodying the first thread


The above two are understandable, its when a 4+ people start making a parody of a parody of a parody that it starts becoming an issue.

Anyway just curious.... I guess I deserve to be bitchslapped if it is actually against the rules.
 
AFAIK, no, there isn't a "rule" against it. It's just bandwidth wasting (like neffing) and mods hate it when it goes overboard.

 
See, I'd say that one parody should be accepted, but whoever makes the SECOND parody, runs the risk of getting smacked down.
