Picked up a little chunk at Whole Foods and while it cost $20 a pound, that cheese is some gooooood stuff.

Parmesan is tasty and lasts well. Worth the extra expense, especially if you're already doing the shaker version.

I mean, it's not that expensive. If you can buy it at basically any food store it's probably not the arbitrarily expensive shit.

Now if you wanna experience some decadence, get you some of this:

One of the best butters on the planet, shipped to your door. We order it a few lbs at a time and it's all we use for spreading. For cooking we still use whatever sticks we find at the store.

I recently got a French butter from wegmans. $20/lb, and absolutely worth it. I don't know what creamery it came from. It's "ButterBoy", but that's just a wegmans brand. They take it out of some kind of bulk package, and put it in a clamshell tub; weight varies. Great flavor with a distinct saltiness.
