God damn. So, one innocent was shot so far, correct? That's one too many or course, but I hope this doesn't end up with more casualties. The dead gunmen doesn't count as a casualty.
Even though these attacks are small, compared to what the US does with war planes, they are unpredictable and cause all sorts of problems. Imagine if the members of parliament were killed during something like this?

Cnn reported that they spoke to the mall and the mall said no shooting there. So maybe that shooting is the one by the hotel. Dunno. The "confirmed true" stuff changes minute by minute - as is usual with these events.

Hmm, interesting. Still early, we'll know more in a couple days.

You know the world is fucked up when you start attacking Canada. That's like pulling a knife on Mr. Rogers.

Police confirmed shooter and one victim dead. Not identifying either.
RCMP admitted they were caught off guard. Describe it as a fluid and ongoing situation.

Downtown Ottawa is still in lockdown until further notice. Not confirming if it was a lone wolf or their were multiple shooters. Though early reports indicate a lone wolf.

Police have now confirmed Muslims are a fear-based, useless religion. More details to come.

more "workplace" violence? Or are people going to admit what it is?

You haven't been paying attention to the stuff coming out of our fed in the past few years.

Also surprised the guy got so far inside parliament.

From the video, it sounds like one really loud gun going off (the suspect's double-barrel?) then a bunch of quieter shots (cops?).

I haven't visited Parliament Hill in years, but I did visit post-9/11 and I don't recall any security checkpoints or metal detectors on the way in. I may be entirely misremembering, though.

I went in March, to get into the building you pass through a metal detector now, there where at least 5-6 armed police officers. There is a large waiting area before this if i remember correctly, how he got that far inside i have no idea.

Like the Muslims care about that. They put their "peaceful" Religion before the foreign Country they live in. Nothing new there. Be prepared for more such attacks.
