Nothing.

It stays in your record for a while, but unless it's a moving violation, insurance companies don't care.

parking tickets dont effect insurance. and wouldnt think it would effect driving record if it was a school official ticketing.

speaking of parking tickets, today walking to work i counted no less than 8 meter maids in a 3 block span. are parking tickets really that important?

Anything that you're pulled over while 'moving' (i.e. driving), crashing, speeding, DUI, etc.

where you parked when you got the parking ticket, or did they write down your plate licences because u stopped at the no stop place. If its the second one then dispute the ticket

I was parked in the parking garage "structure-thingie". I was gone for like an hour....it would have been shorter if my school went faster...(had to see someone about my probation)...I wasnt too bothered when i got it...i WAS gone for a while...and i didnt have a permit....heh...trying to play out my luck.....they wrote down everything, my plate, model of car..etc...>_<

then they got you, the parking violation ticket do not affect your driving record/insurance at all, so dont' worry about it and just pay the fine or they will charge you the late fees

As everyone's said, your insurance company doesn't care about parking tickets. Just pay them up and move on, unless you've got a valid reason to dispute it.
