Parking Ticket.... Question!

I was in LA, CA and I got a parking ticket, but the meter person put down the wrong license plate and there was no VIN on the ticket.

Should I pay it?
Should I contest it?

I meant for the VIN they put NA....

The ticket was 45 bucks for a stupid street sweeping. On Thursdays 1 to 3 they street sweep the right side, while on Wednesday its the left. I figured they were both the same sign. I did see the Wednesday one.

Should I just wait for the ticket or contest?

It's up to you. I'd just pay it. Since they don't have your VIN or License number, i'd doubt they'd find you.

no reason to pay or contest, they can't find u as they didin't put any of the info correctly on the ticket, consider your self lucky

Whatever you do stay on top of the situation. LA County reports overdue fines to credit bureaus after 90 days.
