So, she wants to go to Paris in the middle of March.
A little rushed, I know, but I'm trying to make it happen.
Anybody have any really good experiences with specific travel agencies with regards to pricing, flexibility, etc? Looking to spend no more than 1.5-2k between the two of us for flights and hotels, anywhere from 5-7 days.
EDIT:
Hm... the little research I did on expedia made me think that 2k would be enough for a decent hotel, looks like I'm off. Taxes and upgrades (double twin bed, 250 sq ft, no thanks) are pretty pricey. I'm thinking $2800 between the two of us? I have a few hundred thousand ff miles with United, but I'd rather just purchase a package for this event, as it looks like I'll be flying half a dozen relatives to a wedding in Hawaii during the next month.
UPDATE:
Looks like we're going to London. United is having a promotion, 35000 ff miles to fly roundtrip to London, versus the regular 50k. So the money I'm saving on tickets is going toward a hotel and other expenses. Thanks for all the advice guys- I guess Paris will have to wait till the summer.
