The venetian is nice, but the Paris is beautiful too. The Mon Ami cafe is incredible, and you can sit outside and watch the fountains at night. If I could stay at any hotel on the strip, (which makes no sense, since I can drive there in 18 minutes), I'd try venetian first, then paris, then bellagio, then mandalay bay.

Since you've tried venetian, I vote Paris!

I would say venetian if you have money to burn, otherwise go with paris and save you the 50

Go with the cheaper hotel. After all, you'll be exploring, gambling and partying NOT in the room.

If you're a pool junkie, then stay at Mandalay/Four Seasons or Hard Rock.

I'm sure it is. I usually stay at the Four Seasons, Bellagio, or Venetian and it ain't all that in terms of room mackness. They're all pretty much the same.....What one is really paying for is the lobby and pool/spa privileges (i.e. access to the honeys).

bellagio for $150/nite is good if the gf/wifey is coming along
cos only guest can use their spa/ treatments (starting @$39)

never stay @mandalay, but heard they have an awesome man made beach and overall tropic/water themed compound
