This just in: jail is in lock down due to riot: inmates became insensed when they learned that Paris Hilton was released early because she refused to eat. Prison officals declined to comment on the situation however on a phone interview by one of the prison guards said the inmates were chanting "only poor go to jail" and "No justice for the poor". our source also said that some of the inmates are going to refuse their food in an attempt to be released early.

WOW this should be intersting...

I said this would happen a month ago and one of ATOT's finest responded that 'I did not understand how the law worked'. Screw you buddy, I know how the WORLD works. 😛

Wow, when I want legal advices, ill PM you.

so i gave paris a call to congradulate her on her first prison sentence. she said the food was bad. stale bread and bologna sandwiches that had partially turned green. she also said that she had a "flare up." herpes or acid flash backs might be what she was hinting at. she also said that she would be making her new anklet pretty by putting those rhinestones that she is fond of on it. maybe she'll design some new prison gear for the hollywood crowd.

Obviously I wasn't giving 'legal advices' when I made the statement that she wouldn't be in there for longer than 2 or 3 days. Anyone with half a brain knew she would not be in there for 45 days.

From police spokesman: Paris has an "illness" and will serve the rest of the sentence at home with an ankle bracelet.

"illness" ??

I didn't know being a whore was an illness. 😕

If it is, why don't cute girls get this illness?

The prison only? I hope LA errupts in riots like never before over this.

Someone needs to throw that bitch into that cell with 2-3 other women and throw away the key. Call it forced rehab!

If she had stayed in there for longer, would you have come back and said you were wrong ?

BTW, assumed good behavior drops 45-day sentences in there to 23 days, which is very do-able (in comparison) even by a celeb.

I actually agree with Al Sharpton on this (never thought I'd see the day)

Reverend Al Sharpton, President of National Action Network, and one of the country's foremost leaders for civil rights, is blasting the justice system for what appears to be favoritism in the early release of Paris Hilton.

"Though I have nothing but empathy for Ms. Hilton whom I have met and appeared with on Saturday Night Live the night I hosted in 2003, this early release gives all of the appearances of economic and racial favoritism that is constantly cited by poor people and people of color. There are any number of cases of people who handle being incarcerated badly and even have health conditions that are not released.

I have served several sentences for civil rights and civil disobedience actions and I even fasted which caused health concerns to prison authorities who paid for a doctor to come see me daily rather than release me. This act smacks of the double standards that many of us raise

It's a travishamockery!

Maybe if the hole gets too big your innards may fall out.

On fox they are saying it is a rash that got her out. not her refusing to eat.

ohh and she already has a interview lined up with Barbra Walters.

What probably is happening here is they just want her to get better. If she did get sick say because of food, and something really bad happened to her and they wouldn't let her leave to get better medical attention, it could turn into a huge lawsuit. Or maybe it causes the state to get investigated for the food and get scrutinized. If they found problems there that could cost millions to rectify and make the system look bad. Or if they treat her there and it's not good enough medical facilities as she could have gotten herself and something happens then the same could happen.

I think it's pretty weak too but in the end it's not worth it to the state to hassle with it or stir up problems elsewhere and/or lose millions for a piddly 23 day sentence.

Everyone needs to stop with the 'the system favors white rich people' stuff.

No. She was sentenced to 2 years probation for a DUI and had her license suspended for 6 months. The norm for a your first DUI if you have a lawyer. She was sentence to 48 days(though she would have been out in 28 for good behavior), for driving with a suspended license.

There are thousands of others eating the same food and how many of them are sick? It's a joke. She's not sick. You and I would still be in jail no matter how much we whined about the food.

yeap. wich is more then many get.

while i don't think she should have got 48 days. i also don't think she should have got out early.

her fame was a double edged sword. it got her a harsh punishment but got her out.

It's pretty irrelevant why they let her out. The fact is that for anyone else, a doctor would simply get sent it. If the patient was sick enough, they'd get transferred to a hospital under guard, and then sent back to prison when they recovered.

Add to this the difference between "house arrest" in whatever mansion she lives in, and what house arrest would mean to your average person, and she's basically going free. I don't take any special pleasure in seeing her in jail, but i'm pissed off that the "justice" system can be manipulated so openly.

i don't think she should have been in for 45 days. not for what she did.

BUT it pisses me off that the system is so damn maniupulated.
