One thing I have to say about Parhelia: it will be very, very expensive. And if you need 3 (!) monitors to utilize all of its capabilities,... well... I'd rather go with a next gen Radeon, I think it will be cheaper.

The day i got my Radeon 8500 .... 3 days after launch ... I downloaded the reference drivers and no problems. You are just saying that because of there history, but they have improved alot 😀

And as for the Matrox G1000 .... I cant wait to see that in action, looks very yummy 😀

There will be more than one version, so I'm sure they will have one that is less expensive than the tripple head card. Ultimately all top end hardware tends to be pricey.

I'll say, while the Idea of three monitors working as one is an innovative one, it's not very logical. Picture distortion will be the major drawback.

We used to have a programmer here that used three monitors on his Mac. It worked fine for him. I have used that workstation a few times and can't see any degredation of image quality spanned across three monitors. I personally like a dual display, but if you want three monitors on your desk go for it.
