They should have bought the kid a Chevrolet Volt. It's was ranked a Top Safety Pick Plus by the IIHS and it's still an electric car like the one they bought the kid.

If I was an evil man and Granny was from the wife's side and had a considerable sum that we stood to inherit on her passing, sure. Nothing like blaming the kid for knocking off Grandma.

That and it's good for the daughter to get an early start in learning how most guys are going to treat her once she grows up.
