wow, if anyone threatened to sue me after I was trying to give them friendly advice, I'd be tempted to hire a hitman...

Apparently I don't need to worry about them anymore. They just up and left the place last night. My landlord was pissed (and rightly so) that they gave one day's notice and left everything behind: couch, beds, plates, everything but clothes! Maybe someone did take out a contract on them because of their asshatitude?

My wife says she saw a similar story on the news a few days ago. But it was a couple suing because the father had 6 month old in back in a car seat, hot day... was supposed to drop kid at babysitters... forgot the kid was in the freakin car, and went to work. Kid was in the hot car all day and baked to death. So they want some device that reminds you there's a kid in the back. Ummm how could you miss that?
