What do/did your parents do for a living?

My mother is working in a kindergarden, while my father is a mechanical engineer.
 
my dad works in a factory that makes chicken wire (just retired!) and my mom was a homemaker most of my life.

mother is a personnel* supervisor for the county probation department.

estranged father is a colombian drug lord, err....unemployed/working odd jobs to the best of my recollection.
 
mom is an English professor

don't know what my dad does... all I know is that he wears a suit, works on Wall St. and it has something to do with numbers and possibly counting them 😉 for stress relief, my dad also works part-time as a security guard at Madison Square Garden on the weekends.

edit: random tangent... I feel bad for my dad sometimes. Both my mom and sister teach English (so did my mom's twin sister before she died), and I majored in English in college and still do the odd creative writing publication when the mood hits. 😛

i was in grade 5 when this kindergarten kid started coming to my school. He got a ride in everyday.
His dad had a lamborgini countach and a ferrari of some sorts. Had rounded class over the upright headlights. Cant remember the model...

That was the coolest kindergarten kid ever...

my mom is retired... she was deputy city clerk. my dad works on the county road commission as a truck driver... the guy in the big orange truck
