My parents PROMISED me a brand new Nissan for my birthday and they promised me this many months ago because I got my license in March and they said that I could drive their cars for a while and then they'd buy me this. Well now they're saying that they think it's too much money to spend on me for my birthday and they are going to get me "something more reasonable". Well we went out car shopping on Saturday and "reasonable" to them is a kia rio or something equally lame. God, what a rip off! I'm going to be the laughing stock of the school. I can't believe they want me to drive around in one of these things. How embarassing My parents are soooooooo cheap

No, a joke is like the one my parent's played on me when I was a teenager and wanted a Mustang convertible. They gave me a Mustang convertible Hot Wheels car.....

Just be happy your parent's are GIVING you a car to begin with.
