recently my kids have discovered drawing on my Tablet PC using Paint. is there a better PC Program out there for kids to do drawing and such?

the windows journal is ok too but really doesn't have the drawing tools that paint has.

What age? My 2yo is doing well w/ some of the Elmo programs they have various drawing 'games' as part of the package. The nice thing being that she can't accidentally click on the wrong things.

If older, then I don't know.

Good question. I'm going to check into sketch or Adobe stuff...

to be honest, the gimp and Sketchbook both seem to be very nice programs. but they might both be a bit too feature rich.

i was looking for something a little simpler and foolproof. also something with larger icons.

good question tho. i should have been more specific to start with.

Kids are almost never too young to learn on a "full featured" program. You'd be doing them a great favor if you let them learn the right way from the start. Paint is perfect.

This one's cute, but I'd teach them on the real deal myself.
